USES OF BITUSEAL T5:

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION: Surface should be clean, free of grease, oil, dust or any loose material. Prime surface with BituSeal T3.

GENERAL WATERPROOFING: BituSeal T5 for waterproofing acts as a water and moisture barrier. Can be used on:

• Roofing felt
• Concrete / cement
• Mastic Asphalt
• Corrugated iron
• Slate tiles
• Lead, copper or zinc

METAL PROTECTION: BituSeal T5 also provides protection against corrosion of:

• Metal Pipes
• Structural steel work
• Other metallic equipment

APPLICATION SPECIFICATIONS

• Apply 1 coat of primer (BituSeal T3 + 50% water)
• Apply 2 coats of BituSeal T3
• Apply a layer of non-woven mar-glass membrane
• Apply 2 coats of BituSeal T5
• Apply 1 coat of BituSeal T7, as a protective layer

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• COVERAGE: On a reasonably smooth surface an average of 0.75Kgs per Sq.meter per coat
• EQUIPMENT CARE: Clean all tools used immediately with water after use and if BituSeal T5 has hardened, use paraffin, kerosene or white spirit.
• APPLICATION: Apply two coats of BituSeal T5 with stiff bristle brush to a damp surface, allowing each coat to dry for 24 hours. Protect fresh applied area from rain and dust. For More reinforcement an open woven glass fiber membrane can be placed for more strength and durability.
