Quality lock specification

Yale P89 latch bolt is immediately engaged as soon as you close the door. The latch bolt can be held back temporarily using simple snib button, in case you need to leave the door open whilst bringing in the shopping.

The internal handle is used to operate the lock from the inside and can be deadlocked by the snib lock button for additional overnight security.

The external five pin rim cylinder lock is manufactured to a good specification, is tested for resistance to corrosion and a minimum of 100,000 usage cycles.

The Yale P89 Deadlocking Nightlatch is available in a range of colour finishes. The backset size is 60 mm, the measurement from the edge of the door to the centre of the keyhole and is suitable for use on wooden doors up to 57 mm thick.
