A convenient drill bit and chisel set for first-time rotary hammer users. It comprises of a good range that will fulfil most tasks. This kit will be a great companion for your SDS Plus rotary hammer drill.

These SDS Plus masonry drills fit most makes of rotary hammer drills including Hitachi, Makita, Metabo, Milwaukee, AEG, Bosch, DeWalt, and Ozito. They will fit more recent model Ramset Dyndadrills but check the manual to see if yours takes SDS Plus.

The TCT (Tungsten Carbide Tips) tips make short work of drilling concrete (including reinforced), bricks, blocks and masonry. The flat chisel blades are good removing floor tiles and scraping away mortar and screed etc.

All the drill bits have 4 flutes which is more efficient at extracting the debris for faster drilling.

NOTES:

S.D.S stands for Slotted Drive System. SDS Plus (or SDS+) supersedes SDS yet the two are compatible. It is different to SDS Max which is used on larger breakers, where both the drills and the bits are significantly bigger and more expensive. SDS Plus is not interchangeable with SDS Max, although reducing adapters are available.

SDS Plus cannot be used in ordinary 3-jaw chucks.
