Flashband Self Adhesive Flashing Tape for Roofs is a flexible bitumen strip that bonds instantly to most building materials to provide a permanent, watertight seal.

• Main applications include repairing lead flashing, sealing valley gutters, mending leaks in drain pipes, gutters, walls, roofs, polycarbonate sheet joints and cracks and felt joints on flat roofs

SPECIFICATIONS :

• Strong self-adhesive flashing tape with a natural lead-look finish comprising of an Aluminium foil and a bitumen rubber adhesive.
• The adhesive forms a strong waterproof seal by the simply pressing the tape into place by hand.
• Application: Cut to the required length. Remove the backing. Press tape into place using fingertip pressure.
• Avoid excessive pressure. When laying adjacent rolls the tape must overlap by at least 25mm.
• Use a seam roller or rounded piece of wood to smooth the tapeand ensure good contact is made.
• Surfaces must be sound, clean, dust free and fry.
• Use bituminous Primer to improve adhesion on porous rough, dusty surfaces in cold or damp weather.
• Porous surfaces-dampen lightly with water before applying.
• Non-porous surfaces-should be dry or only very slightly damp.
• Fill cracks wider than 3mm, deep hollows or depressions.
• All weather, super strong, multi-purpose, easy applications.
