Crown Vesta Regal metal Primer is a single pack, alkyd-based economical primer for metals in mild environment. It is used for decorative/ industrial use on metals where it produces a matt finish which should be overcoated within 1 month. This primer is not suitable for use in highly corrosive atmospheres particularly in coastal regions, where Crown Zinc Phosphate primer is recommended.

It is best used with Steelwork, commercial vehicle bodies, machinery, metal casement windows, heavy, structural steelwork and light gauge metal structures. It offers the following advantages, it is economical, has good corrosion resistance and adhesion.

SPREADING CAPACITY: Depends on film thickness applied, type of texture, surface porosity, imperfections, temperature & wastage during painting with a range of 8 – 10 m2/l when applied on smooth surfaces.
