USES OF THE T7 BITUSEAL WATERPROOFING: BituSeal T7 is for roof waterproofing where heavy traffic or wear may occur. It is applied after BituSeal T3 primer is used. The cellulose fiber makes BituSeal T7 very strong where a tough coat or heat resistance is required. A mixture of clean sharp sand and BituSeal 7 can be acquired to increase heat resistance and mechanical damage.

INSULATION:

• BituSeal T7 also used as a heavy duty abrasion resistant waterproofing over insulation on:

SUBSTRATE PENETRATION: Surface should be clean, free of grease, oil, dust or any loose material. Prime surface with BituSeal T3.

APPLICATION: BituSeal T7 is to be applied with a trowel to a damp surface, not more than 3mm thickness per coat as it may cause cracking. Allow each coat to dry for 24 hours, to let the emulsion cure. Protect fresh applied area from rain and dust.

APPLICATION SPECIFICATIONS:

• Apply 1 coat of primer (BituSeal T3 + 50% water)
• Apply 2 coats of BituSeal T3
• Apply a layer of non-woven mar-glass membrane
• Apply 2 coats of BituSeal T5
• Apply 1 coat of BituSeal T7, as a protective layer

COVERAGE: On a reasonably smooth surface an average of 0.75Kgs per Sq.meter per coat.
