Genuine Kolas T3 Non-Fibrated Bituminous Waterproof Coating in Nairobi, Kenya

A non-fibrated, stable, bitumen water emulsion of medium brushing consistency. It is dark brown in colour and dries to a black flexible coating. Odourless and taint-free. Available at authorized distributors Ali Glaziers Ltd in Kenya for all bitumen based waterproofing Kolas products in Kenya.

• Priming: For masonry, concrete, thermal insulation and other porous construction surfaces. It is intended to seal porosity, control dusting and improve the application of subsequent bituminous coatings.
• Prime as detailed above. Apply by brush a minimum of 2 coats at 0.75 kg/m². Allow 6 hours between coats and apply each coat at right angles to the previous coat. KOLASCOTE T3 may be applied to a damp surface and for maximum strength, durability and flexibility, the coating can be reinforced with an open woven glass fibre membrane. Protect fresh applications from rain.
• Application: Surface should be free of grease, oil or loose material. KOLASCOTE T3 is supplied in a concentrated form.  Dilute 50% with water and stir thoroughly to get complete mixing. Apply the primer with brush or spray working the material well into the surface preferably with a stiff bristled brush to cover 8 m²/kg. Protect fresh application from rain until cured.
• General Waterproofing: For use on concrete, cement, roofing felt, mastic asphalt, corrugated iron, slate tiles, lead, copper and zinc as a water and moisture barrier.
